Preserving American Freedoms (PAF) was founded with the purpose of educating and engaging Americans on the value of their personal choices and freedoms. The organization was just recently launched and is actively recruiting partners and allies to join in this effort.

Stand with us against these decisions that impact our everyday lives. The federal government wastes too much tax money, doesn’t live by the rules they set for others, and is focused on the wrong priorities. They are out of touch with everyday Americans and have the wrong priorities.
Examples of this include medical decisions, restrictions on food, and prohibitions of entire industries.
Too often, regulation is an unnecessary encroachment by the federal government into the personal lives of adults who should be able to make their own decisions. It demonstrates how out-of-touch the federal government is with the everyday lives of Americans. And it often introduces a host of dangerous unintended consequences.

Government Overreach
- Regulations deprive adults of their free choice, especially working-class Americans and minorities, by putting the federal government in charge of their private decisions.
- The federal government should spend less time worrying about people’s personal lives and more time focused on how to reduce the cost of gas, electricity, and groceries.
Misplaced Government Priorities
- During a time of recession, persistent inflation, social unrest, and war – new, unnecessary regulations demonstrate misplaced priorities and a federal government that is out of touch with everyday Americans.
Double Standards
- In some instances, the government is creating pardons or exceptions while also banning other items. These double standards create confusion, inconsistencies, and can lead to illicit markets.
- Banning specific products can also create harmful, unregulated products, as occurred during prohibitions with alcohol and cannabis.
